We proudly support the growth of the U.S. Drone Soccer Community!

We focus on indoor events and operate as a mentor group and community support hub vs. a traditional club.

All of our activities are run as sharing & learning events under the AMA – Academy of Model Aeronautics (https://modelaircraft.org). As the 1st Model Aviation Student Club in New York State, we’ve made it our goal to spread the word about this great opportunity for drone clubs, after school programs, classrooms & schools. AMA Membership is required for key positions at our events. FAA Drone Pilot Certification (Part 107) is not required although most of us are card-carrying Commercial Pilots. U.S. Drone Soccer Instructor Certification is required to provide technical support &/or training to component groups. We assist key volunteers with certifications when sponsor funding permits.

Spend some time with us at an event & see where you fit in! Check our calendar or give us a call as Meets & meetings with our sister group, SUNY AMA, are often not posted publicly. Those who stick with us learn from each other & make valuable connections. It is a commitment. We work around schedules as much as possible.

Self-promotors & financially-motivated “volunteers” are discouraged & culled out. We’re in this to connect students to drone education & employment opportunities.
