Drone Clinic is now confirmed for Sunday, February 19, 2017, 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Utica  Children’s Museum.  Bring your drones and your safety glasses!  New flyers can meet seasoned pilots and enthusiasts for an exchange of information on safe practices, tips and tricks, purchasing and repairs. The clinic will include 6 stations:  How to Get Started/FAA Registration Help, Drone Building & Repair Tips, 3D Printing Demos, Rig Rescue Flight Simulator, FAA Drone Safety and a Controlled Flight Zone.  In addition to the interactive stations, the event will include information and field set-up for Rig Rescue, our area’s 1st Annual STEM-based Drone Challenge scheduled for late April.  We hope you’ll join us!

NOTE:  Flying space is limited at this event location and will be limited to supervised test flights on a sign-up basis.  Waivers are required and will be available at the event.
