Be Part of Drone Soccer History!

In 2027, SUNY Polytechnic Institute will host two major U.S. and international drone soccer competitions, bringing student tech athletes, educators, volunteers, and teams together from across the region—and around the world.

🏆 U.S. Drone Soccer District II Championship – 3/7/2027 | SUNY Polytechnic Institute

The top 16 middle and high school teams from New York and New Jersey will compete for the District II Championship and an opportunity to advance to the U.S. Drone Soccer National Championship in May.

🌎 FAI Drone Soccer World Championships – 7/14–16/2027 | SUNY Polytechnic Institute

Following the U.S. Drone Soccer National Championship in May 2027, the winning team will represent the United States as Team USA at the 2027 FAI Drone Soccer World Championships, hosted here in Central New York.

Teams from 18 countries are expected to compete at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, making this an exciting opportunity to showcase our community on an international stage.

Calling All Community Volunteers!

Great competitions depend on great volunteers. CNY Drones, U.S. Drone Soccer District II Directors, is offering free referee and scorekeeper training for community members (age 16+) interested in supporting these events.

No previous drone soccer experience is required.
Training, food, and refreshments will be provided.
Volunteer Training Pre-Registration Required.
