With your help, our volunteer team invests in New York’s future workforce. We provide drone-focused workforce development & STEM events that introduce students & adults to the latest technology.
Our events connect students to educational & employment opportunities via
- technology-centered competitions
- sponsor supported interactive exhibits
- introductions to on-campus venues
- meet & mingles with technology leaders – company volunteers, high school & college students, educators & seasoned mentors
CNY Drones events are planned & run by members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, a not-for-profit, national community-based organization dedicated to the promotion of model aviation as a recognized sport as well as a recreational activity. We adhere to all AMA Safety Guidelines in addition to FAA Regulations in order to promote a safe flying community. The majority of our events are indoors using an abundance of redundant safety precautions.
